Amos Welborn account book, 1819-1850 [microform].

The collection consists of an account book of several businesses owned or operated by Amos Welborn in Gwinnett, Bartow, and Walker counties, Georgia from 1819-1850. The account book includes records of drinks and general merchandise (1819-1839) listing individuals dates and items sold; gold mine records (ca. 1830-1839) containing labor contracts and a mining company by-laws from a goldmine owned by Adam Simmons, boarding house records (1837-1838) listing people and horses boarded; and records of workers provisioned and loads of wood sold on the Western and Atlanta Railroad in Bartow County (1841-1850).
